Being a mother has its privileges, but it’s not always a walk in the park. Being the best mom a woman can be is sometimes a lot of work! Here are a few tips from some of the hottest moms on the planet, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Hudson, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Garner, Kate Upton and more, about how they stay fit and healthy.

Here is some advice for the working moms in the audience: Do what you have to, but if you want a career and a family, don’t lose yourself to your career. Don’t neglect your family. But remember, the most important person in your life is YOU.

1. Don’t go to the gym alone.

We know that you want to be thin and fit, but don’t go it alone. Get a friend to go with you. If you are the type of person who can’t be in the same room with anyone who doesn’t know you, then it’s time to stop being so self-centered. Remember that a lot of people want to lose weight, too, but most don’t have the desire that you do to accomplish the same feat.

2. Have a small meal before you go to the gym.

You want to look great on the inside, but you don’t want to look bloated and disgusting on the outside. Eating light will help you to have energy. If you eat something that will leave you feeling full and stuffed, you won’t have the desire to work out.

3. Don’t wait until you feel like going to the gym.

The day that you’re going to go, don’t wait until you feel like going. If you don’t have the motivation to go to the gym, it’s better not to even start. Take your motivation to the gym. Take it and shove it.

4. Get up and get moving.

Even if you’re not going to work out, get up and get moving. Exercise is not only a great way to reduce stress but it’s also a great way to get you back on track.

5. Don’t spend too much time in the gym.

I know that you’re in there for a good half hour. Don’t spend more time than you need to in the gym. Your best workout is going to happen when you get back home. When you work out, make sure you work up a sweat. This will give you a better pump as well as help you feel better overall.

6. Eat well, and exercise!

What you eat is more important than how often you exercise. The more often you work out, the more of a toll it is on your body. Exercise is good, but make sure that you are also eating right. It’s also important to drink enough water to keep yourself hydrated.

7. Get to the gym early.

If you’re going to the gym, get to the gym early. This will help you get the best work out of your body and get the most work done during your workout.

8. Take your workout outside.

If you are working out indoors, make sure you are using a treadmill or an elliptical machine. These are great, because they are safe and do not put too much strain on your body. If you are working out outside, go for a run, walk or swim. You will be able to see your body in action, and you will burn more calories.

9. Find the best time to work out.

If you know that you are going to be busy, don’t worry about it. If you know that you are going to have time, make sure that you are taking advantage of that time. If you are going to be at the gym, work out in the morning. If you are going to be at the gym later in the day, work out later. Take advantage of the time you have.

10. Drink plenty of water.

Water is very important when it comes to the body. Even if you don’t think that you are thirsty, your body is. It is vital that you drink plenty of water. If you do not drink enough water, you are not going to be very efficient and your body is going to suffer from dehydration.

11. Don’t stress out.

If you are not feeling well and your body is telling you that you need to rest, do so. It’s good for your body to rest, and it will help you when you are working out. Don’t put yourself in a position to stress out if you are not feeling well.

12. Be gentle with yourself.

Your body is a delicate machine. It is important that you keep yourself in a good place. If you are sore or if you are not feeling well, give your body a chance to heal. If you push yourself too hard, it is going to hurt you more than help you. If you are not feeling well, don’t work out.

13. Be kind to yourself.

A person’s body is like a house. It can be nice and cozy, or it can be nice and spacious. Do not let your body dictate how you feel. Make your body feel the way that you want it to feel. If your body is telling you that you are not feeling well, listen to it and let it rest.

14. Be happy.

If you aren’t happy with how your body looks and feels, don’t let that be the only thing that determines how you are going to feel. Take time to be happy. Your life doesn’t have to revolve around how you look. You are not going to be happy if you are never happy with yourself.

15. Have a good attitude.

If you feel like you aren’t going to lose weight, make sure that you don’t focus on the fact that you don’t feel good. If you keep yourself focused on being happy, then you will find yourself making more progress. If you are not enjoying yourself, you will not be able to do anything.

16. Have fun.

Work out with your family or friends. When you work out with others, it becomes a social activity. Workout with your family is great because they have your back. You don’t have to worry about being judged by them.
